My career has included commercial, financial and general management roles centered on developing, constructing and operating power plants and other large energy infrastructure.Originally from Dallas, I began my career in oil and gas and moved to power generation when Texas and many other states first established competitive power markets. I now have more than 25 years of experience in multiple energy markets, domestic and international, and in competitive power companies and regulated utilities.Audit experience in PwC’s energy practice followed by budgeting, financial planning, accounting and commodity risk management at TXU and Eversource Energy built a strong financial foundation. Subsequent roles developing and executing large energy projects including offshore wind, solar, gas pipelines, electric transmission and ports has added commercial and project execution expertise.Transitioning from carbon-based energy to clean, renewable resources is a complex challenge, made all the more challenging by our growing demand for electricity.
