About Michael Aupperle

I have been associated within the service and event industry for 21 years, beginning my career in the floral industry. I\'ve worked in all facets of the floral, event and production industry. With the opening of the newly remodeled Ritz Carlton, in Philadelphia, I was offered the position of Assistant Floral manager. Here I honed my skills working with and assisting Philadelphia\'s best designers. Graduating to Director of Visual Integrity in 2001. I left the Ritz Carlton and found a new home back in Las Vegas as a creative manager for Destinations By Design where I remained for 9 years. Learning time management in a fluid, creative, time sensitive environment. Developing my solution driven philosophy, and helping create high style and innovative events in Las Vegas. I trained as second production carpenter for 3yrs and as the facility manger. Eventually promoted to Head carpenter, and regional director for Pro Soft Goods in Las Vegas the last 2 years. Here my skill set has increased to include drape, masking and projection surfaces for special events, film and television shoots. I have worked in tandem through the Local IATSE 720 while managing and over seeing daily operations in our facility. I have had the pleasure to work with many prestigious companies while learning AV, digital lighting and audio. Where I now travel for corporate clients supporting technological needs, such as IT, LED walls, touch screen interactive displays and proprietary software, along with break out rooms and crew management. Most recently I have diversified into crew allocation and equipment procurement, through my own company LV Expo & Stagecraft. I now work with many national and international technology companies for technical support as both a tech and onsite and client support. As well as technical direction depending on client and event needs. Through diverse experiences and knowledge, my expertise offers success to clients and those I support.
