About Michael Ashby

I am a technical recruiter for DNV, where I hire the best and brightest people. I started my career out of college working in nuclear plants as a Reactor Engineer. A few years later in the role, I was fortunate enough to attend some campus recruiting events. I really enjoyed meeting new people at these events. I also knew a lot of people and would refer them to job openings in the company. Recruitment soon became a very important part of my life. I eventually was able to move into a recruitment role and I have not looked back since. If you enjoy talking to people, recruiting is the best job. There is no better joy then placing someone with a company you love and seeing that person move up in the company.When I\'m not working, I\'m with my family, usually with my daughter who is involved with gymnastics, swimming and acting or my son, who is an avid basketball player. Because of me, they are both huge University of Florida sports fans and also Cleveland professional sports fans (is it cruel to turn them into Browns fans)?I enjoy traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people.
