I specialize in addiction work, teaching both general addiction studies and postmodern / strength-based approaches to combating addiction. Additionally, I have created \"Deconstructing Bullying\"- one of the country\'s first-ever collegiate level courses, dedicated to dissecting, combating and healing today\'s bullying epidemic on both micro and macro levels.

ABOUT MICHAEL ANTHONY NALEPA
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who strongly believes in the power of stories. All of my work - whether it be artistic or therapeutic - revolves around the power of stories.because our perception truly does shape our reality. I work extensively with gay & trans-identified individuals, those wrestling with the effects of addiction, and couples struggling with communication — utilizing traditional talk and art therapies to bring forth one’s preferred hopes, dreams and preferences for a fulfilling life. In my spare time, I serves as an equal rights activist and as executive director of the AnonymoUS Initiative, an anti-bullying non-profit program that empowers marginalized communities through action and activism. I teach (affiliate faculty) in Antioch University’s psych program — specializing in bullying, the cognitive sciences and addiction recovery. Outside of therapy, my passions include making social justice documentaries with the International Documentary Association, rehabing old furniture, and fNetflix & chillin\' by myself.
