About Michael Alan Chang
https://mchang6137.github.io/I am a postdoctoral researcher at the UC Berkeley School of Education. I work with the NSF National Institute of Student-AI Teaming and the Center for Integrated Research in Computing and Learning Sciences (CIRCLS).Previously, I was a Ph.D. student in the department of computer science at UC Berkeley, where I worked with Scott Shenker. My dissertation work focused on how datacenter infrastructure can assist operators in automatically configuring large-scale distributed applications deployed in a datacenter environment. These configuration tasks include improving end-to-end performance, improving resource efficiency, and guaranteeing that web applications comply with privacy policies.
