ABOUT MICHAEL GREENWALD

In 2020 I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. As an established student-leader in the community. I\'ve had so many great opportunities where I got to meet prominent business and political leaders around the state. I loved the state of Florida - and I still do. Although my time at UF might be considered by some as a success, I felt like I was missing a deeper meaning in my life. During covid I had a lot of time to meditate and introspect on what I wanted the next step of my life look like.By the end of the year, I decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Those next 4 years proved to be some of the most impactful and challenging years of my life. I was putting myself out of my comfort zone every day as I learned and pushed myself mentally, physically and spiritually. I\'ve gained the values and fulfillment I was seeking while also maintaining the attributes that made me successful in college. These are the skills I have brought back with me to the private sector.Shortly after leaving the Marine Corps, I started my current job as an assistant underwriter/broker for one of South Florida\'s premier MGA\'s, Bass Underwriters. Every day I come to work with a service driven, customer first mindset. My desire to continue serving my community will fill a need in the insurance community as a broker/underwriter.
