   As the head of the accounting/finance department, I have direct responsibility over all accounting functions including but not limited to- Month end preparing, timely closing, and presenting of financials and WIP reports of each region spanning six states- Setting financial statement budgets/forecasts and tracking expectations each month- Weekly Payroll Review and Processing - Monthly Payroll, Franchise, Sales, and other Tax Calculations and Payments- Monthly GL Account Reconciliations and Journal Entries- Monthly and Quarterly bonus/commission calculations- Annual Year End Insurance Audit and Renewals- Annual Year End 401K Audit- General Contractors License and State Registration preparation and renewals throughout the year - Maintaining proper internal controls- Onboarding new employees, and handling all employee healthcare and 401K benefitsSpecial Tasks-Responsible for due diligence in our acquisition by First Onsite working with them directly on all questions and reporting -Implemented new credit card and expense reporting platform saving us valuable time and ensuring more accurate reporting-Created new revenue streams generating six figures annually by creating new relationships and accounts with vendors and service providers-Cut month end reporting down from several months to several days
