About Micah Mitchell

As an accounting student at The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with an Associate of Arts from Tallahassee Community College (TCC), I have cultivated a robust academic and leadership foundation. At Florida A&M University, I served as the Fundraising Chair for the university\'s chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants and was an active member of FAMU’s Scholars of Finance chapter. During my time at TCC, I was a member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and held notable leadership roles, including Senator and President (\'20-\'21) of the TCC Student Government Association. Additionally, I was involved with TCC\'s Black Male Achievers, the Student Life Office, and Phi Theta Kappa Society, and I earned certification in Florida Leadership Training through FCSSGA. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and will pursue my Master\'s in Accounting at Florida State University in Fall 2024 to become eligible to sit for the CPA Exam. Currently, I am serving as an Audit Intern at Deloitte, having previously interned with Crowe LLP in the same capacity. I possess a growing expertise in accounting and intermediate proficiency in Excel. I am committed to advancing my career within the Accounting and Finance sectors, with the aspiration of becoming a partner and contributing significant value to my team.
