Ensure administrative, technical, and fiscal completeness of applications.• Administer engineering analysis of assigned air pollution control permit applications.• Utilize standard engineering procedures (USEPA AP-42), State and Federal rules and regulations, and agency policies (40 CFR Parts 60, 61, 63, 70, & 71; 415 ILCS 5/Environmental Protection Act, esp. Title I and II; and IAC Title 35, esp. Part 201 through 291) to determine compliance of equipment. • Make recommendations to grant, deny, and reject applications. • Utilize Permits, Air Quality Planning Inventory, and Compliance section data systems (ICEMAN, Compliance Tracker, Docuware, etc…).• Meet with permit applicants and/or their representatives, the public, Agency, Bureau/Division/Section/Unit staff and government representatives.• Administer permit fee resolution processes including reviewing requests for reconsideration of permit fee amounts, through cooperation with permit applicants and Agency staff.
