With over 13 years of experience in international development, public health and social work, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to improve the well-being of individuals and communities facing health disparities and challenges. I have a Master of Social Work degree, a background in public health in both rural and global setting as well as trainings and certificates in crisis intervention and integrated behavioral health.At Sea Mar Community Health Centers, my primary focus involves programmatic guidance and clinical supervision, ensuring our multidisciplinary teams deliver exceptional care that adheres to rigorous standards. Our teams, including New Journeys, CST, and PACT, are dedicated to addressing the nuanced needs of clients facing severe mental health challenges. The role demands a strategic oversight of inter-agency referrals and a proactive approach to shaping program policies, which directly impacts the quality of client care.Additionally, I have received training in mental health crisis interventions and work with our Adult Mobile Crisis outreach team as an interventionist as well as supporting our teams with 24 hour on-call supervisory support.Previously, I worked in project management and program evaluation at West Virginia University. During my time at WVU, I managed projects related to chronic disease prevention, youth and community resilience, tobacco prevention, health and wellness, and public health communications. I also co-led the CDC\'s Prevention Research Center Anti-Racism Work Group. Throughout my career, I have received fellowships and awards for my work in global health education, building partnerships and programs focusing on rural health care delivery in the Amazon.
