   Shaped U.S. strategy for Paris Club debt restructurings, managing negotiations, legal review, and interagency clearances.• Negotiated U.S. bilateral debt restructurings, securing $1 billion in relief for Somalia and restructuring Argentina and Ukraine’s debts to the United State, while advancing negotiations with Ghana, Sri Lanka, and Zambia.• Managed U.S. implementation of DSSI, resulting in the United States signing ten bilateral agreements that rescheduled $291.73 million in debt service, allowing beneficiary countries to redirect spending towards their COVID response and supporting global economic recovery.• Led EB’s engagement on the Tropical Forest and Coral Reef Conservation Act (TFCCA), advising on country eligibility, contributing to negotiations and site visits, and ensuring compliance with EB policy and U.S. treaty requirements—redirecting $75 million in U.S. debt to conservation programs in three countries, including the first TFCCA coral reef initiative in Indonesia.• Served as subject matter expert on sovereign finance, debt, climate-finance, and international investment frameworks, represented the Department on the Interagency Credit Risk Assessment System committee.• Mentored incoming officers on region-specific sovereign debt issues, provided annual trainings on sovereign debt, debt restructuring, and interagency coordination to help onboard incoming staff. • Worked on an ad-hoc team to develop an epidemiologically-based economic model to estimate likely economic outcomes of COVID-19 in February 2020.
