Currently serving as Interim Head of Administration & Finance for Research Services at the University of Oxford, providing strategic operational, financial and HR leadership across a ~200-person department (£10m annual turnover) within University Administration & Services. I act as a member of the Research Services Leadership Team and strategic partner to the Director, overseeing business planning, financial modelling and governance, people strategy, facilities, and cross-departmental change.Alongside this role, I am Head of Operational Change and Deputy Head of Administration in Oxford’s Department of Biology, leading operations and professional services across IT, laboratories, the executive office, and buildings & facilities with a team of >30 staff. Responsible for delivery across a department of staff and students, including major capital and infrastructure programmes such as the Life and Mind Building, the University’s largest-ever development.Previously, I managed multi-million-pound research portfolios as Research Manager and Operations Lead in the Radcliffe Department of Medicine, working closely with funders, industry, and NHS partners to translate research into real-world impact and establish cross-sector operational partnerships.I am also an accredited mediator (UK Civil Mediation Council) and existentially informed coach.
