I have over thirty years of experience in higher education, teaching and mentoring both undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, I have directed grants in the field of Biological Sciences, where I have conducted numerous research projects as a plant scientist. My work has resulted in the publication of over 50 research papers, many of which are in high-ranking, peer-reviewed scientific journals with significant impact factors. My research projects focused on understanding plant strategies for coping with environmental stresses and enhancing plant resilience. I believe that my twenty-eight years in research, combined with rigorous leadership experience, have prepared me to be a proactive professional constantly seeking new challenges.I have successfully directed grants and developed mentorship programs for both faculty and students. Additionally, I have collaborated effectively with faculty, staff, researchers, and students from diverse cultural backgrounds across multiple institutions on three continents and in various countries to achieve project goals. I am always looking for collaborative opportunities to share experiences and learn from others.My citation index has significantly improved over the last few years.
