Drove major corporate decisions for medical device hardware and software systems, R&D, marketing, partnership strategy and P.O.C. for doctors, hospitals, and manufacturers. • Developed electronic design history file (EDHF) software incorporating SDLC practices. Activities included translating stakeholder VOB and VOC needs to requirements, establishing risk mitigation protocols, UX/UI storyboard development, Front-Middle- Backend programming, ensuring EDHF framework complies with ISO 13485 quality and IEC 62304 traceability standards, and encompassing DFMEA/ MDR/ change control features. • Developed Agile cycles for incorporating CME training activities for improving surgeon skills, and established KPI indicators for practicing surgeons utilizing our systems. • Developed surgeon specific IoT solutions combining custom hardware, Cloud, VR, Chatbot, and data visualization focused on advancing the surgeon medical experience through customized Bio and Ortho Informatics software developed using front, middle, and back end coding. • Developed electronic training modules for teaching bi-cortical drilling, spinal fracture surgical techniques for CME / GME certification. • Applied cognitive computing (Machine learning, AI) and piloted blockchain studies. • Developed SQL tables with gigabytes of data across multiple platforms into a central library, cleaned the data and developed Power BI dashboards to optimize organizational information. • Developed Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software for data cleaning legacy documents. • Researched up/downstream benefit of solutions to learn ROI and supply chain impact. • Lead team of engineers, researchers, coders, and surgeons for multiple orthopedic projects ranging in complexity from electro-mechanical, biomechanics, and software development. • Promoted collaboration between engineering professionals, surgeons, and STEM students through Ideation activities developed around our research programs and industry partners.
