ABOUT MIA VISTA PEREZ

She took off her heels and chased a FedEx truck.” My very first CEO still describes me this way. Equipped with that same tenacity, resolve, and a hefty dose of grit, I spend my time infusing those same qualities into the teams I’m privileged to lead. I’m captivated by organizational strategy and connecting the organization’s long-term goals with short-term incremental wins. Consumer behavior and organizational psychology fascinate me. Throughout the course of my career, I\'ve learned to develop a growth-mindset. I\'m a lifelong learner. My experiences have shaped me to be able to run the operation yet understand and implement the strategy. This helps my teams see the sightline between what they do everyday and the strategic direction of the organization. I\'m adept at establishing, cultivating, and maintaining sustainable professional relationships with cross-functional teams, key stakeholders, leadership personnel, and C-Suite executives. I\'m also skilled at developing, implementing, and optimizing institutional policies, procedures, and goals. I\'m fascinated by culture and brand and how those components intersect with organizational successes (or failures). My personal Why is to help propel others be the best they desire to be. You can find me at my day job working alongside the remarkable people at Coastal Credit Union in Raleigh or on a stage somewhere teaching, inspiring, motivating, or championing others.
