I\'m Miatta Harris, a second-year Political Science major at Spelman College, minoring in Sociology on the pre-law track. I am passionate about using leadership, civic engagement, and advocacy to drive lasting social change, particularly within underrepresented communities.Currently, I serve as a Black Youth Fellow with The People\'s Agenda of Georgia and a Student Organizer with Equity for All, where I champion voter engagement and equitable policy reform. Previously, I led efforts as the Spelman Campus Field Organizer for Rise Free, mobilizing students to participate in civic life.I am proud to be a Bonner Scholar, one of just 20 selected from the Spelman College Class of 2028, a program that reflects my deep-rooted commitment to service, leadership, and community-based change.My journey began at Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts, where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA as Senior Class President and Chairwoman of the Clayton County Youth Commission. There, I led impactful voter registration drives and earned recognition as a Best Legal Oralist at the Georgia Youth Assembly, an honor presented by Georgia Supreme Court justices.I aspire to a career in law and public service, aiming to create and uphold policies that promote equity and justice. Every step I take is guided by a desire to empower others and build a more just society.

   Selected as a RISE25 Fellow, participating in an intensive, cohort-based fellowship centered on digital communications, social media strategy, and youth civic engagement. Developed and executed content strategies across multiple platforms to promote civic education, policy awareness, and community initiatives. Created original digital content, managed campaign timelines, and analyzed audience engagement to strengthen outreach and visibility.Collaborated with fellows and program leadership to design messaging that translated complex political and social issues into accessible, compelling content for youth and community audiences. Strengthened skills in branding, digital storytelling, analytics, campaign planning, and online advocacy while contributing to measurable growth in engagement and public awareness for partner initiatives.
