About Miami Celentana
I chose to study industrial design hoping to understand the “why” questions (research) that informed the “what” questions (results). That curiosity pushed me to dig deeper and expand outside of my design studies at DAAP by joining the NEXT Innovation Scholars Program: growing my skills in innovation and strategic foresight. My projects for Kao, P&G, and Factory360 have been formative in how I define innovation: novel, valuable, human solutions to human problems. I enter the zone when exploring people’s motivations, understanding their decision-making, and then supplementing user findings with market and cultural landscape research. The synthesis of insights is the force behind my strategic direction. With one year left in my five-year program, I\'m focused on fall 2026 internship opportunities that combine human-centered design and research with business impact.If you are working in foresight or innovation strategy and have thoughts on where someone with my background should be heading, I would love to hear from you!
