Hello! My name is Mia Lombardo and I am completing a Business Administration degree with a Marketing emphasis and minor in Communication Design from the University of Southern California. My passion lies at the intersection of PR and Marketing within the beauty industry. As a leader in USC’s Business Cosmetics Club, I\'ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of beauty and learn directly from industry leaders. It\'s been eye-opening to see the business side of beauty and has fueled my desire to pursue a career in this field. My involvement with USC\'s Haute Magazine has further solidified my interest in PR and Marketing. As a member of the Finance and Events team, I\'ve taken on the responsibility of pitching partnerships to various food, beverage, and lifestyle brands, and I\'ve successfully secured partnerships with brands like Lip Lab and Mezcla Plant Protein Bars, which have been featured at our launch parties attended by approximately 400 guests each.In these roles, I\'ve developed invaluable skills in problem-solving, clear communication, and attention to detail—qualities that I know are essential in PR and Marketing roles. I thrive on building relationships and finding creative solutions to overcome challenges. I’m always looking to learn more from others and through my own experience, and I’m excited to expand my skillset and knowledge during my time at USC and throughout my future career in the Cosmetics Industry.
