ABOUT MIA KHAVARI
Hello! I am a passionate 3rd-year Environmental Science undergraduate at Northeastern University. My academic interests surround the intersections of renewable energy and nature-based solutions with conservation and resource management science. Pursuing a degree in environmental science, I strive to interweave my experience in wildlife and resource conservation through its exposure to me in the Maine Audubon Shorebird Conservation Project, as well as naturalist studies through my time as a conservation student in Belize studying the impacts of ecotourism on sharks. Passionate about the outdoors, I have enjoyed skiing since I could walk, and have volunteered my winters as a Ski Patroller at Hermon Mountain Ski Resort since December 2020. I am currently working towards receiving my full license, which will grant me vast expertise in different injuries and treatment/rapid response methods. A dedicated musician as well, I love to connect with others through playing and sharing music and other forms of art! Thank you, I look forward to meeting you!
