ABOUT MIAH CRONEN

Hi I am Miah Cronen, a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am committed to serving children and adolescents with mental health struggles and their families in order to increase self-efficacy. My goal is to increase the overall well being of children and adolescents. I am very passionate about social work because I want to make a difference in our youngest generations\' lives to support them to live their happiest lives possible. I am dedicated to working with children and adolescents to teach skills in order to better manage their mental health struggles because I believe that diagnoses do not define people. PROFESSIONAL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS-Established rapport with clients to effectively engage in weekly individual therapy sessions with adolescents diagnosed with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, depressive mood disorder, and bipolar disorder-Facilitated daily therapeutic community group with adolescents on Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT), and developing other coping skills-Presented and collaborated in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care-Created treatment plans based on clients individual diagnoses and goals at intake and every 90 days.
