About Mia Brix

I am currently a student at Indiana University pursuing my Master’s in Accounting with Data and Analytics after obtaining a undergraduate degree from Kelley with a double major in Accounting & Finance. I have always been interested in all things math related, planning and organization, and helping others. I held a part time job as an admissions coordinator for two years that taught me accountability, customer service, phone skills, teamwork, strategy, and time management. Last summer I had the opportunity to intern for CKF Foods which familiarized me with Quickbooks, Excel, financial statements, business acumen, and the operations of the company. As a student, I continue to use these skills and further dive into my interests. I joined the Women\'s Financial Association, the Western Equestrian team and was a Team Captain, the English Equestrian team, multiple honors organizations, volunteered through my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, and kept up with all of my Kelley classes. In the future I hope to secure a job that allows me to harness my strengths, as well as develop many new skills while learning along the way. I would like to be able to make an impact whether that be in individual people’s lives, for a company, or my family and friends. Outside of school and work I enjoy snowboarding, horseback-riding, creating artwork, playing the piano and guitar, reading, spending time with family and friends, walking, and hiking. I love all the small things about everyday life as well as trying new things and creating memories.
