I am a highly skilled public relations and business student with experience in marketing and public relations. I have been proven successful in fast-paced working environments through my leadership experience. As an attendee of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this past summer, I was granted the opportunity to learn from the top marketing professionals from across the country and their business strategies that have been proven successful. After attending the festival, I worked to produce a comprehensive project about an award winning business innovation through intensive research, outreach and competitive global marketing courses. By applying the skills I obtained from marketing industry professionals, I was able to produce an advanced product that aligned with the company\'s strategy vision.Over the past two years as Public Relations Intern and Assistant with Strike Magazine Athens, I have worked on a team to coordinate with over 10 local companies to plan and execute events, including a semesterly launch party for 100 people, marketing the magazine’s brand to the community and allocating our funds after raising over for the magazine in the past year through planning and executing a bar crawl and a vintage thrift sale. Additionally, as a Business Promotions Intern for The Red & Black — an on campus newspaper — I work to promote the newspaper and brand across campus through a weekly outreach cadence of newsletters and communicating with students on campus. I also collaborate with internal stakeholders to problem solve for ideas on how to extend our reach through facilitating discussions and conducting research on our engagement which has led to over 200 new interactions for the paper.
