I care about making an impact and creating systemic changes that can provide better supports for community members. I operationalize a statewide strategy to increase access to school meals among K-12 students in Texas. I cultivate and manage statewide partnerships, provide consulting services to school district child nutrition offices, and build coalitions to create a groundswell of support for policy and advocacy initiatives.    Responsible for managing the No Kid Hungry Texas Campaign, including administering grants worth $10M+, driving state public policy agenda, and motivating school districts to adopt state and federal school meal programs across 45 counties- Built coalitions with statewide partners over a five-year period to influence legislators to include a Bill Rider that included a budget allocation that will serve 75K students to receive free school breakfast over the next two years - Cultivated relationships with prospective donors across Texas to educate them on the food insecurity issue impacting children by crafting marketing materials, meeting with donors 1:1, and sharing impact stories - Crafted content plan alongside public relations consulting firm that included idea generation and impact storytelling opportunities in order to share with local media, resulting in over 9M+ unique viewers over the past year
