ABOUT MAGDALENA ALBRIGHT
I\'m a senior at the University of Southern California, studying American Studies and Ethnicity with a Pre-Law emphasis.Last summer, I studied peace and conflict studies at the University of Cambridge, which sparked an interest in international judicial bodies and peacebuilding processes. While at USC, I\'ve interned for the Central American Resource Center of LA (CARECEN), connecting immigrant youth with the educational support and resources they need to succeed. I also worked as a policy intern for the LA Department of Civil Rights, where I assisted the direction of their anti-hate campaign– LA For All. I\'ve just finished up an internship for the LA Public Defender\'s Office, conducting client intake for post-conviction relief and processing civil immigration detainers to protect the due process of undocumented immigrants. Recently, I was in DC working for U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen.
