About Mia Xerras
Currently, I am a sophomore at Connecticut College, majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology. While on the leadership board of the Connecticut College women\'s basketball team, my passion for sports and ability to lead and communicate well has motivated me to find internships and opportunities that leverage those skills. I plan to spend the summer of 2025 as a Game Day Presentation Intern with the Connecticut Sun WNBA organization. I hope to use this opportunity to improve my event coordination, public speaking, and project management skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the sports industry and enhancing my ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
