WORK HISTORY
Certified Nursing Assistant @Carillon Nursing Home Inc
NY, US
I successfully completed The Certified Nurse Assistance Program and passed my New York State Nurse’s Assistant Exam. I learned about human anatomy and physiology, patient observation, basic patient care principles, patients\' legal rights, tracking and reporting patient information, and safety protocols. I had the opportunity to put my knowledge and abilities to use during my clinical experience in a nursing home. I gained knowledge on how to transfer patients safely, bathe, change linens, feed, and—most importantly- provide indirect care. This summer I worked as a Nurse\'s Assistant at the Carillon Nursing Home. I was able to acquire insight and grow through hands-on experience, observation, and making inquiries. I proudly assisted with urinals, diapering, bedside hygiene, bathing, and linen changes. The little things, though, are what really counted—whether I was willing to help patients when they required assistance, paid attention to their desires, like what they wanted to wear, or what kind of lunch they preferred, taking the time to appeal to a patient\'s emotions was what the patients appreciate the most.
