About Mia Kmet

I am a hard worker and highly motivated. I ran cross country for six years and started very slow,but never gave up and worked hard every practice and meet to reach the goal I had set for myself. I ultimately ended up shaving around seven minutes off my time and became a captain. I value growth and continuous learning, and these are the values that motivated me to try a plethora of clubs and extracurricular activities in high school. I competed in DECA, was co-president of the yoga club, and volunteered with a club called Matthew 25 ministers and National Honors Society. I continue to seek out new opportunities in college aswell, and have joined Kappa Alpha Theta and Kesem (which is a club that helps to design andfundraise for a sleep-away camp and events throughout the year for children whose parents have cancer). I look forward to continuing my professional and personal growth and using my hard workingattitude to continue to motivate myself. I am excited to continue to build experience in thebusiness world through internships and jobs.
