ABOUT MIA JONES
I’ve been the Culture Editor for The Daily Orange, overseeing the Culture section while reporting, editing and publishing multiple stories a week for our independent, student-run newspaper. I\'ve written stories about a woman who owns a balloon business and a student-run club that used to operate out of the basement of a dining hall on Syracuse University\'s campus.As a student in the Fashion & Beauty Communications Milestone program, I\'m skilled in fashion media, such as pitching, writing and editing. Through my Spanish minor, I hope to use my language skills to explore the communications landscape between the U.S. and Spanish-speaking countries.I hope to work in communications as a writer, editor, audience engagement specialist or executive at a major publication, news outlet or media company.
