Manage the daily operations for a Special Lending Team with functions to include loan closing and post-closing servicing Direct the day-to-day processing for Loan Booking and Loan Accounting Maintenance groups. Tasked to create/develop a closing and servicing team responsible for managing a portfolio of syndicated and participated loans. Increase operational risk control measures by developing/implementing procedures to limit gaps in processes. Interact proactively with Loan Operations and Credit Partners to ensure accurate processing and exposure of loans. Develop and manage monitoring/servicing functions relative to loan closing/funding, recordkeeping, and accounting to ensure efficiency in operations of commercial letters of credit, syndicated/participated, optionally priced, and energy loans. Oversee a loan portfolio for early identification/resolution of potential problems with documentation, record keeping and/or collateral monitoring. Remain abreast of all industry trends and recommend/implement changes to policy, procedures or processes to improve departmental performance as appropriate. Motivate/train team members and new hires on policy, procedures, documentation standards, and laws to ensure their thorough understanding and implementation of all activity regarding the transaction cycle. Responsible for coordination of data for the bank required Shared National Credit (SNC) reporting. Coordinate with various lines of business bank-wide to ensure data integrity and compliance adherence to bank policies/regulations. Initiate, manage and update service level agreements/processes and act as subject matter expert for the Bank.
