   As a Grants Associate at Jolt Action I work to support all fundraising and community engagement efforts including general operating, special events, and donor stewardship. Examples include conducting the full range of activities required to seek and manage grants from foundations, corporations, nonprofit organizations, civic groups, and government entities- Write and develop LOI’s, grant grant proposals and letters of inquiry to foundations and other grant-making organizations, persuasively communicating the organization’s mission and programs topotential funders. Continuously improve the quality of proposals and reports- Respond to ongoing requests for supplemental information and data from funders- Maintain a calendar/grant tracking system to ensure the timely completion of all proposals andreports- Manage relationships and data on the database and communicate accordingly with the Development Director for updates- Maintain foundation, corporation, and individual donor files on EveryAction database- Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors- Work with the team to plan and execute fundraising events- Assemble media and donor kits for events and meetings in coordination with the Communicationsteam- Supports strategies and programs to encourage and increase in-kind donations of materials andservices- Collect and research data to support or answer specific questions/topics related to development- Support individual giving campaigns as needed.
