We are a Fintech startup building systems to fight bureaucracy and complexity for our customers. We operate on a web-scale (millions of customers) so I am working with bleeding-edge distributed systems technologyI\'ve worked in three different teams:Chargebacks: Developing backend customer-facing features, as well as Backoffice (tooling) for our CX employees and integration with Mastercard legacy systems while dealing with this complex business logic that\'s Credit Cards chargebacks. Mostly doing Clojure (with Datomic and Kafka)(~1 year)Data Engineering: Building and maintaining the ETL, I got the chance to learn Spark in-depth (~1 year) Finance Platform: Accountable for critical report flows to the Central Bank involving many stakeholders. One of the hardest domains I\'ve worked on: ledgers, accounting, reconciliation, we even have to be constantly updating our legal/law understanding skills given the nature of the team, also we\'ve built the backend infra for credit as a first-class citizen for the company so we have other engineering teams as customers.(2019-01 -> present)
