I work on the design of digital systems that make cooperation possible without central control.At Exonym, I’ve been building distributed infrastructure for transactional integrity in high-risk, anonymous environments — where trust can’t be assumed and enforcement doesn’t scale.That work led to The Generative Commons: a practical theory of how shared meaning, visibility, and commitments interact to stabilise cooperation at scale. It explains why many current approaches to trust, governance, and digital regulation underperform and what would need to change for them to work.My focus is not on content or platforms, but on the underlying coordination architecture that makes democratic systems function in a networked world.
