Overseeing Glassdoor’s Finance organization reporting to the COO. • Managing and leading Finance team members - including Accounting, Procure to Pay, Payroll, and FP & A - to ensure they are coached, developed, and well positioned to achieve their goals. • Leading financial strategy and decision making for the operating budget and ensure all decisions are guided by organization principles and strategic initiatives. • Implemented an annual operating plan approach based on top strategic initiatives and objectives in collaboration with BizOps. • Maintaining financial model and forecasts to guide Glassdoor’s long term financial strength by advising on growth, hiring, spending and strategic projects. • Maintaining high bar for quality and efficiency around core financial processes. Month end close on BD2, rolling Forecast on BD5, and Management/BoD reporting on BD6. • Effectively communicating and presenting critical financial matters to the CEO, the executive team, and the boards as well as to key external stakeholders at regular intervals and on an ad hoc basis • Recognizing and anticipating opportunities and challenges as they relate to financial systems and procedures; streamline and improve fiscal functions through successfully implementing enhanced and efficient processes.
