Vice President of Cyber Security with extensive experience leading security strategy, engineering, and risk management within highly regulated financial environments.Currently serving as VP Cyber Security at Northern Trust, where I focus on securing complex, distributed systems, protecting sensitive financial data, and enabling the business through pragmatic, risk-based security controls. My role sits at the intersection of technology, governance, and operational resilience, working closely with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, and risk functions.I bring a strong background in: • Cyber security leadership and engineering • Cloud, API, and application security • Incident response and cyber investigations • Financial crime enablement and control failures • Secure architecture in large-scale, global organisationsPrior to my current role, I built and led security capabilities across consulting and industry, delivering penetration testing, security assessments, and incident response engagements for organisations across financial services, fintech, aviation, and critical infrastructure.
