About Marissa Goldenstein

I’m exploring how emotional intelligence, self-love, and family systems shape not only how we parent, but how we learn to lead, relate, and create life together. My work sits at the intersection of parenting, EQ, family systems, and inner life. I’m interested in how the ways we relate to ourselves shape the ways we lead, parent, and participate in the world, and how family life is one of our most powerful classrooms for becoming more authentically ourselves. Motherhood changed the way I see everything. It asked me to slow down and notice where I was performing, managing, or escaping the present moment. It invited me to turn toward the deeper stories that shaped who I became. In doing so, I was invited into a different kind of growth: one rooted in self-acceptance, compassion, and the courage to meet myself more truthfully. Not to become a “better” mother in any perfected sense, but to become more authentically me, and to create a different legacy for my children through that honesty.I feel most alive in conversation with mothers and thinkers who are curious about human attachment, compassion, developmental science, and and what it means to raise children (and ourselves) in a more conscious and loving way. I’m especially drawn to those who sense that parenting is not just about shaping kids, but about reshaping culture from the inside out and creating the future. My work is not about becoming an expert over anyone’s family or life. Instead, it’s about creating spaces through conversation, writing, leading, and facilitation, where people can reconnect with their own wisdom, deepen their self-trust, and embody more love for both themselves and others. I’m the creator of The Motherhood Practice, where I explore motherhood as a portal to personal and collective transformation. I also work with the Jai Institute for Parenting, supporting parents and coaches in developing emotional intelligence and relational skills. I write regularly on Substack, sharing reflections on self-love, family life, and the quiet inner work of becoming. If you’re interested in reimagining how we love, lead, and raise the next generation, starting from the inside out, I’d love to connect.
