Naval Special Warfare Group One (NSWG1) Inventory Management Specialist:Initiate & coordinate actions to resolve logistical problems concerning munitions for component commandsProvide guidance & technical direction for the control of assets, stock distribution, issue priority, alternative usage of substitute material, supply management policies, requisitioning, & reporting proceduresLiaison between component commands & higher level authority to obtain & exchange information & make recommendations for new policies or modifications to existing policiesReview munitions technical publications, higher authority instructions, & directives to ensure local instructions & directives are in compliance to meet training strategiesMonitor ammunition inventory records, ensure that records are maintained in accordance with established allowances, approved basic stock lists, & NCEAAnnually coordinate, consolidate, & submit the training ammunition Non-Combat Expenditure RequirementsEstablish criteria to identify and analyze munitions programs & requirementsEnsure a 100% accountability rate of ammunition inventory is maintainedEnsure each issue, receipt, and expenditure is authorized and documented per instructionsManage the Quality Assurance Program which apply to Munitions stowage, receipt & issueIssue guidelines & oversee NAVSUP & other National/International & general policy statements & objectives, interagency program policy proposals requiring refinement and coordination for all munitions management for domestic & international requirementsConduct Ordnance Stowage Inspections, Assessments & reviews to ensure compliance with NOSSA requirementsAssist Safety Director with Technical Assist Reviews of Ordnance facilitiesExercise independent personal judgment & initiative to build resource libraries that will aid in everyday ordnance transactions, implementing new & improved methods & procedures within the organization while reviewing existing processes & documentation
