My current research focuses on metacognition and preservice teachers\' attitudes and self-efficacy about their learning and, subsequently, the teaching of digital literacies and computational thinking. Additional interests include alternative assessment models such as ungrading and fostering a sense of belonging by developing welcoming spaces in face-to-face and online learning modalities.
