About Maria Fernanda Martinez
With over ten years immersed in the education sector, my focus has been on understanding and rectifying the inequities present in our educational systems. This journey has not only been shaped by academic studies but also by firsthand experiences navigating through these challenges. I am deeply passionate about creating engaging learning environments and have a track record of tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs of each learner. My goal is to foster engagement, promote understanding, and inspire positive change.Recognizing the limitations of traditional classroom in today\'s rapidly evolving landscape, I have transitioned into the role of Founder and Executive Director at Rio Progress, a nonprofit organization based in the Rio Grande Valley. At Rio Progress, our mission is to empower young people by helping them figure out what they want to do after high school and provide them the tools to ensure it is a financially smart decision and a smooth transition.
