San Diego Social Venture Partners is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic membership organization that provides funding and pro-bono consulting to strengthen local nonprofits and our community. They are comprised of caring and informed San Diegans with a passionate desire to give back through engaged, strategic giving and volunteering that makes the social sector more efficient, effective, and impactful. Founded in 2001, they have given millions of dollars and tens of thousands of volunteer hours to the local San Diego community.Fackler joined in 2005 because of the amazing members in the organization. He was sure that his philanthropic dollars would be well invested. In 2006, Fackler was asked to be on their board and shortly thereafter, he was voted in as Chairman of the Board. He remained Chairman through the first few years of the Great Recession and then remained on the board for a total of six years. Since leaving the board, he continues to support SDSVP, even though he is not able to volunteer much time with them. Fackler remains confident that his philanthropic investments are well spent.

ABOUT MARK FACKLER
Since 2003, Mark Fackler has been a CEO Coach at Vistage, the world\'s leading executive coaching organization. He leads the same group that he was a member of for 12 years, when he was the founder and CEO of Stellcom, a software/hardware engineering firm. He credits Vistage for helping him grow his company to 500 employees, achieving a 40x increase in revenue and becoming financially independent at age 42. Mark is driven to give back and passionate about creating great ROI for his member CEOs, by providing them with peer support, expert guidance, and personal growth opportunities.Mark is also a managing partner at Trolley Terrace Development, a real estate investment company that specializes in upgrading and holding multi-family properties. Since founding this business in 1991, he and his partner have acquired and operated properties in both California and Utah. Mark is a partner at San Diego Social Venture Partners, a philanthropic organization that funds and consults local nonprofits. Mark is committed to giving back to his community and making a positive impact through strategic giving and volunteering.After completing 27 Ironman races from around the world, Mark recently traded his race bike for a Harley Davidson Fatboy. Mark and his wife Kathy have two grown sons and split their time between La Jolla CA and Durango CO.
