One of the things I did during my sabbatical is get involved with research! I\'m currently volunteering part-time as a Research Assistant at the SCU HCI Lab to pursue intellectual curiosities into how AI-enabled tools could help digital wellbeing.

ABOUT MEZIAH RUBY CRISTOBAL
My current research focus is human–AI interaction: how people use, work with, and make sense of AI tools, and how these tools affect and shape human agency, creativity, and sense of ownership over the work.To this research, I bring 8 years of working in tech, from backend engineering and solutions architecture, to frontend engineering, UX design, and web accessibility.
