Emt Operations IT @Waves Of Health

The Waves of Health is a volunteer medical organization that provides regular healthcare to families in small farming communities of the Dominican Republic / Haiti border. No one in our group is paid. All the money goes to the making the mission happen. We perform checkups, issue donated prescription medications, and educate the residents in good healthcare habits. Before we started doing missions, this health problems would stay untreated and the people would suffer and die needlessly. What we do is people helping strangers that didn’t happen to be born in a 1st world country. I have had a variety of responsibilities in this organization. I have done triage/initial exams as an EMT. I\'ve done operations and traffic. I\'ve developed and deployed a portable electronic medical records network.
