As Director of Programme and Business Development, I lead a cross-functional team that integrates programme delivery with strategic business development and communications. A key focus of my work has been diversifying funding sources to strengthen financial resilience, reduce donor concentration risk and expand income streams across grants, equity and debt. This included building strategic partnerships with DFIs, MDBs and climate funds, resulting in multi-year agreements with organisations such as the World Bank, Innovate UK and Reall, I’ve embedded blended finance mechanisms into programme design, including the Green Affordable Housing Finance initiative in Kenya, supported by concessional and catalytic capital from the SDG Impact Finance Initiative and ESRC. Internally, I’ve introduced performance frameworks and decision-making tools, whilst creating and implementing a tailored CRM system to enhance donor pipeline management and conversion.To further apply Reall’s technical expertise, I initiated a new advisory services offering, with pilot consultancy engagements in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. As a member of the Investment Committee, I contribute to the oversight of a multi-million-pound balance sheet and loan book, ensuring strategic alignment in capital allocation.
