   Waldorf teachers move up with their classes, developing unique and specialized curricula each year. I have created and implemented personalized, developmentally appropriate curricula in grades 1-5 that meet the varied academic, emotional, and spiritual needs of each student in a hands-on, engaging, and supportive environment. I established a class culture of respect, kindness, and curiosity to passionately approach each new learning experience while acknowledging the range of strengths and abilities in the class. I effectively communicate with parents and staff to nurture and grow relationships in a community-based school setting. In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, I collaborate with colleagues on the Literacy and Math Committee to implement innovative and effective teaching methodologies and have co-founded the DEIJ Committee for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice to revolutionize the community\'s mindset and approach, and to create sustainable inclusion policies and practices for the benefit of students and faculty.
