About Megha Gandhi
I have rich experiences within multiple functions of HR, in three central business hubs: Bangkok, New York, & San Francisco. This unique combination of experiences has deepened my knowledge and established my business philosophy: HR is the backbone of any organization because it is not technology that builds an organization, but rather the people that drives technology forward. I recognize how technology and AI will impact the future of work and, more importantly, understand how to effectively and respectfully incorporate them into the business. My data-driven mindset stems from the connections I have made with the Hacking HR community. My accomplishments: • Developed a training needs analysis to forecast potential learning tools and training resources required to meet individual’s performance goals and decrease financial spending on L&D projects • Incorporate pre-assessments and prerecorded video interviews as the first round candidate experience and reduce the overall recruitment timeline • Recommended and implemented the communication and survey platform which improved the performance appraisal process as well as enhanced employee experience and manager engagement in the process Investing in DEI is not just the right thing to do but the smart thing to do. Having managed DEI projects has proven to me that better results and better decisions come from demographically inclusive and cognitively diverse teams. My commitment stems from my international education and professional experiences. I have found that my passion lies in meeting new people, obsessing over organizational theories, and conducting strategic assessments to improve business performance. My accomplishments: • Led DEI initiatives through lunch and learn conversations, mentorship program, as well as panel events. Topics include: Recognizing of Unconscious Bias, Financial Impacts of DEI, and Work in a 5 Generation Workforce • Implemented the communication and branding strategy in alignment with company values by unifying content on the organization’s external social media sites and internal intranet platform • Executed the organization’s gender parity and minority hire initiatives and developed processes for partnered organizations to replicate in their hiring process
