ABOUT MESSELE GHEBRESLASSIE

I grew up with a love for computers from an early age. I was fortunate enough to have access to a family computer while growing up. I remember being dazzled by the windows desktop screen and just following the wall of cryptic looking hieroglyphics on start up.I remember learning how to over-clock my parents old Pentium-2 computer and subsequently watching it \"break down\" not to long after later.I used to really enjoy emulation programs that let me play my old favorite Super Nintendo games on the pc and building simple static html pages via notepad. My love for technology and computers never completely faded away but did fall to background as I grew older. I later found an appreciation for cars and decided to pursue that as a career. I met a multitude of people from different backgrounds andmade some lifelong friends in the process. I learned to appreciate the nuances of a seasoned professional to an eager beginner when it comes to completing any procedure. The professional uses foresight, attention to detail and plans for failure before even beginning a repair. That was one of the major takeaways I learned from my peers while working as a mechanic and I carry that with me in all I do now. Another skill a professional carries with them is the ability to diagnose an issue which happens to carry many parallels to debugging programming. Nearing the end of the 2010\'s I knew I was ready to tackle a new challenge. I stumbled across some programming e-books on reddit and that started me down a rabbit hole of self-study for almost a whole year. During that time I completed \"auto the boring stuff\"(e-book),\"complete python boot-camp\"(Udemy course) and Harvard\'s well regarded\"CS50\"(intro comp sci online course) and many more. Towards the end of that I came across the EvolveU boot-camp and felt I was ready to take the plunge and finish a 6 month intensive boot camp geared towards helping you become industry ready. I\'m extremely grateful to staff at EvolveU for providing such a great learning environment for the last 6 months and helping me become the developer I am today. I\'m looking really forward to taking the next step in my developer journey and can\'t wait to see what the future holds for me in the tech sector!
