AfriOrbit is a space engineering focused initiative for designing and manufacturing Educational Satellites and Rockets. It develops CubeSats, both hardware and firmware, from scratch. More on the Github repo- Led the design of the Edusat (1-U Cubesats for educational purposes). Specifically led development of the Electrical Power Subsystem (EPS) and Onboard Computer- Led the design and development of the satellite-IoT architecture using LoRA gateways. Designed CubeSat that communicates with IoT sensors via a LoRa Gateway and Software Defined Radio (SDR) architecture- Led the rocketry programme with successful design and deployment of custom avionic systemsI have expertise in power budgeting and subsystem integration, leveraging Satellite Toolkit (STK), FreeFlyer, MATLAB, and Simulink for mission simulations and SDR analysis.
