Vocational Wellness Educator - Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc, Sacramento, CAAs a peer provider with lived experience, the Vocational Wellness Educator’s role is to educate, develop, and navigate wellness and recovery values in the workplace for consumers. With a focus on vocational development and job accommodations at any of the CBHI facilities, this position facilitates recovery for our consumers through the effective utilization of Department of Rehabilitation • Provide leadership through mentoring and in-service training to Administrators, Nursing, and staff on recovery and wellness issues within the vocational rehabilitation services• Provide education and training on cultural sensitivity, welcoming practices, developing peer support environments that integrates our service delivery providers, consumers and family members• Develop state of the art vocational programs through research and involvement with national leadership in evidence-based practices and technical assistance to make these resources available to CBHI facilities, • Provide resources to our staff on Spirituality, Recovery, and Social Inclusion, as well as other current best practices in mental health, wellness recovery, and vocational and peer provider resource• Create educational and training materials for CBHI, including power point presentations and vocational workbooks• Act as a Community Liaison for CBHI in local, statewide and national arenas by attending meetings and conferences as requested by my Supervisor. Develop and maintain relationships and communications with key contacts in Behavioral Healthcare systems such as County Departments of Human Services, CA Department of Rehabilitation, Self-Help and Wellness & Recovery Centers, etc.• As a community provider, share my knowledge and lived experience as a collaborator with other systems in local counties, state organizations and federal agencies, representing the Crestwood Leadership Team.
