I am currently a Senior Advisor in the Office of the President at the DFC (US International Development Finance Corporation previously known as OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation). DFC is an independent agency of the US government. It supports investment by US companies overseas through financing and political risk insurance. DFC operates in over 100 developing countries and emerging markets. DFC is self-sustaining and returns money to the US Treasury each year to help pay down the federal deficit. I was previously President of Aria Strategies, an international management consulting firm that focuses on global market and business development, strategic planning, communications, government and stakeholder relations, crisis management and continuity planning. Aria Strategies largely focuses on consulting for major clean energy and traditional energy companies, but has also done work in the health sector on topics related to pandemic and continuity planning. Critical infrastructure security planning and national energy security policy are also areas of expertise.As CEO of Hittite Green Solutions, Inc, I manage a U.S. corporation that is introducing disruptive technologies in the areas of desalination and CSP solar.
