ABOUT MERRY JENNIFER MARKHAM
I am a gynecologic medical oncologist and physician leader specializing in the care of women with gynecologic cancers. My career in medicine has focused on advancing outcomes while improving the lived experience of patients through evidence-based, compassionate care. I have been deeply involved in research, quality improvement, and initiatives aimed at strengthening patient–clinician communication and trust.At the core of my work is the belief that healthcare must be both rigorous and deeply human. I am also committed to supporting and connecting women physicians, recognizing the importance of community, sustainability, and meaning in demanding professional lives.In 2021, I founded MMarkham Travel, a boutique luxury travel advisory that has grown into a top-producing agency through referrals and long-term client relationships. My work in travel is shaped directly by my background in medicine and a deep respect for time, clarity, and thoughtful decision-making. I specialize in designing highly personalized, experience-driven journeys for discerning, time-limited travelers who value expertise, comfort, and intentional travel.Across both medicine and travel, my purpose is consistent.
