About Merry Chea
IT Specialist with enterprise experience across Windows-based environments, systems administration, endpoint management, networking, automation, and data reporting. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of the Pacific. In my current role, I support and maintain enterprise IT operations including Active Directory and Windows Server administration, OS deployment and imaging with MDT, endpoint management, and hardware/software troubleshooting. I manage asset inventory and ticketing using Lansweeper and support cloud-managed networking solutions including Cisco Meraki, Cisco VoIP, UniFi switches, and Ericsson Cradlepoint.I work extensively with IBM MaaS360 and Ninja RMM to manage, monitor, and automate endpoints across the organization. I also support SQL Server–based reporting initiatives, where I develop and maintain queries in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and create operational and business reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PDI, collaborating with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights. I am continuing to deepen my skills in T-SQL, SQL Server architecture, reporting, and automation, alongside Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse, to support DevOps-aligned and data-driven workflows. My technical foundation includes programming in Python and C++, and my science background strengthens my analytical thinking and structured approach to complex problem-solving.I am focused on growth toward Systems Administration, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Data-Oriented Engineering roles, where I can contribute to secure, scalable, and reliable technology environments.
